Back in the 1900s united states had the strongest industrial economy in the world. They had many strategies like horizontal and vertical integration,laissez-faire[allow-to-do]and social darwinsim.Whatthose srategysare example of there strategys. They joinedtogether.took controlof eachstep in the production of distributation, they regulated itself if government didnt interfere and they discouraged government regulation of business practices. They also sold natural resources to companys at low prices. They putted tariffs on forein goods.Thats how they earned money. That was some examples of what they did.

the first strategy was hoizontal itegration that approach called for joining together as many firmsfrom the same industry as possible.vertical integration involved taking control of each step in the production and distribution of a product aquiring raw materials to manufacturing packiging and shiping.the laissez-fare held the market through supply and demandand would regulate itselfif government did not interfere and social darwinism was a theory of eveloution that the person with best-run buisness whould succeed and the rest whoul fail.

Horizontal integration was the first strategy it jioned them togather as many firm from the same industryas possible. The secound one was vertical integration this involved taking control of each step in the production and distribution of a product.
Laissez-faire held that the market through supply and demand would regulate itself if government didn't interfere. The last one was the social Darwinism held that the best-run business led by the most capable people would survive and prosper.

THE HORIZONTAL INTERGRATIONS HELPED THE STRONGEST ECONOMY IN THE WORLD BECAUSE IT JOINED TOGATHER MANY FIRMS AS POSSIBLE.THE VERTICAL INTERGRATION TOOK CONTROL OVER EACH STEP IN THE PRODUCTOIN AND DISTRIBUTION OF A PRODUT .THIS GAVE CARNEGIE COMPLETE CONTROL OF THE PRODUCTION PROCESS AND THE POWER TO DOMINATE THE STEEL INDUSTRY.LAISSEZ-FAIR WAS A LAW TO STOP THE SUCH BUSINESS PRACTICES.SOCIAL DARWINISM ALSO DISCOURAGED THE GOVT.REGULATIONS OF BISNESS PRACTICES.
