Many people moved westward because of the opportunities they saw they had.For example mining. They heard that by mining you may be lucky enough to find gold. They also went because of the land. The land was very good to plant crops.Although they had many opportunities they also had conflicts.Like they didnt have many jobs and they had many competition for finding the gold. That is some opportunities and conflicts they had

They wanted to move south because of the land and the gold. They were the two main resons. They did not want to go because of the job shorteges. The gold could have really helped out some of the people though. Espically if there werent any jobs avalble. The land was mainly wanted for crops and animals. So that way they could have also made some money. Even if there was a job shortage they could have went and started farming or mining.

The opportunities and conflicts that emerged many americans that moved westward was that they were looking for gold and land.when they were getting the gold they used simple tools like pans and shovels.some ranchers could get 40 dollars ahead for a cattle that sold for 5 at texas.then what railroad companies did was that they extended rail lines west from missouri into kansas. some of the conflicts were that the gold ran out.a nother conflict was that many of them were not use to living in the west they just werent use to the living Circumstances.

Many people moved to the western because they wanted to find new opportunities and that they told them lies about that ther was gold in the western, jobs and free lands. The people started to move because of this lies they told them and on ther way to the west the had some conflicts. The conflicts they had wher that on their way they they got sick, not enough food, and when they got to the west ther was no jobs.
