At the start of the 20th century, the United States was an imperialist nation with overseas possessions. Three presidents developed foreign policies designed to expand Americans power and protect American interest. Name the three presidents, their policies and what they meant to our nation.

One of the three president was Theodore Roosevel.His policy was the Big Stick policy.It was a strong-arm approach to forign affairs,emphasing diplomacy backed by force.
The other president was William Howard.His diplomacy was the traft's apporach to foreign policy,focusing on encouraging ang protecting u.s. trade and investment in Latin America and Asia.
Finally th last president was Woodrow Wilson's his was the Moral Diplomacy.It was an approach to foreign policy, focusing on promoting democratic ideals abroad.

At the start of the 20th century there was three diffrent presidents that made three diffrent policies.The first president was Roosevelt.He created the big stick policy and it means a strong arn approach to foreign affairs emphasizing diplomacy back by force.The other president was Howard Taft,his policy was the dollar diplomacy which ment to encourage and protect american trade and investment in latin american and asia.The last president was Wilson and his policy was based on democratic ideals rather than on economic investment or the use of force.All these policys were passed to protect american interests and to our nation it meant to have a good and secured investment in places like asia and having peace.-Adalia perez

In the beging of the 20th centurary the U.S was imperialist nation with overseas possessions.During this time there were three presidents that had a major change in the world.Rooselvelt,Taft,and Wilson were the presidents who made a diffrence during their presidential years.As well that there were many events that happened during that time. Some were positive and others were negative as well. This all lead to what is today. President Rooselvelt policy was the "BIG STICK POLICY". Aso a another important policy was the Foreign Policy, and the Monroe Doctrine. The dollar Diplomacy, and Moral Diplomacy was also important as well.
In the 1900s the U.S got really involved with the Latin America. The U.S helped Panama to have thier independece and to bild the Panama canal.Another event that also hapened during that time and was important was when the Philipines became a possession of the U.S and put the down the inepdendece movement there. China alo had a new policy it applied its Open Door Policy to limit foreign control and maintain acces to china market.This were some of the acquiring and managing global power.

Three Presidents an Three Foreign Policies.The three policies are "THE BIG STICK",by Theodore Roosevelt."DOLLAR DIPLOMACY",by William Howard Taft.And "MORAL DOCTRINE",by WOODROW WILSON.The Woodrow Wilson law(MORAL DIPLOMACY)was based on democratic ideas rather than on economic investments or use of force. Wilson passed this law by it's foreign pilicy on "HUMAN RIGHTS,NATIONAL INTEGRITY,and OPPORTUNITY as against NATIONALINTERESTS".The used for this law was to aid "the development of constitutional liberty in the world".The "BIG STICK POLICY" was formalized in 1904.Theodore wanted to make the united states a great power that influenced around the world.He wanted to show they had enough power economic and money power.The "DOLLAR DIPLOMACY" by william Howard Taft.This law limited the used of forced overseas.It also encouraged and protected American trade and invested in Latin American and Asia.In Nicaragua,it supported a revolt that brought a pro-U.S leader into power in 1911.Then banks loan to the new government. -SURIAMY MACEDA
